CEA Paris, France – French Language Studies at Paris IV Sorbonne
(Outgoing Program)
Immerse into French language at one of the world's oldest, most prestigious universities. Attend class with other international students at the Cours de Civilisation Française de la Sorbonne at the Université de Paris IV, a center dedicated to teaching French to students from around the world. Semester and academic year programs are designed for students who speak French at the high-intermediate level and above. Along with language classes, choose from elective courses that increase your proficiency while deepening your understanding of French culture. The summer program is designed for students at all language levels and incorporates two components: language (cours pratiques) and phonetics. All courses are taught in French and according to the traditional French instruction method.

Founded in 1253, la Sorbonne hosts thousands of international students every year. This prestigious university’s French-language center, Cours de Civilisation Française de la Sorbonne, offers language and culture courses at the school’s Raspail campus in Paris’ 14th Arrondissement. Students will receive a transcript from Cours de Civilisation Française de la Sorbonne upon completion of their program.
